The query is visible. The user profile is not.

Is It Blocked? is designed as a small public lookup service. It does not use advertising trackers or build a profile from the domains you check.

What you send

The domain and selected evidence window are sent to the Is It Blocked? Cloudflare Worker. As with any web request, Cloudflare processes connection metadata such as your IP address to deliver and protect the service.

What sources receive

The Worker sends the domain and date bounds to OONI. It sends the domain and country code to Voidly for the four regional cross-checks. Those upstream requests originate from the Worker, not directly from your browser.

What is cached

Successful domain reports may be temporarily cached at Cloudflare's edge. A small public hot-domain list may be cached in KV for up to 24 hours. Results are not attached to an account or user profile.

External links

GreatFire and other research references are not contacted during a normal page view or lookup. If you open an external source link, that site's own privacy policy applies.

Cookies and analytics

The public site does not set analytics, advertising, or preference cookies. The separate operator dashboard is not part of the public browsing experience.

Alert feed builder

The account-free builder runs in your browser and creates a public URL containing only the domain, country, and severity filters you choose. It does not collect an email address or register a webhook.

API and feed requests

Public API and feed delivery uses the same ordinary Cloudflare connection metadata and abuse protection as page requests. No API-user profile is attached to a read-only request.
